Veranda Restaurant (Greek)
My mom and I agreed that today's journey would be to a Greek restaurant. My mom insisted we should go to the Veranda, and we did. The menu was filled with so many appetizing dishes, but we had to choose one. We first ordered the saganaki, which is technically fried cheese, but it was actually on fire. The waitress doused the fire in freshly squeezed lemon juice, we waited for it to cool off and immediately dived right in. The taste was amazing, and it tasted much better on pita bread. Next, we ordered the Combo For Two, which was 2 broiled lamb chops, 2 4oz pieces of Athenian chicken, 2 mini pork kabobs, and Greek fries. First, I tried the Athenian chicken and it tasted just like any other chicken. It was great. Next, I tried the pork kabobs and they tasted really good. When I tried eating, I sort of failed so go check it out on my video experience. Lastly, I tasted the broiled lamb chop and it was pretty bland, but still tasty.
